I am 57, and I am at 250 lbs, @ 511, I need to take off 80lbs I started a workout where I only hit the major Muscles Chest: Bench press, arms: Bicep curl, Tris: extensions, Legs: hack Squat & leg curls, crunches, calf: seated, Back:barbell rows dead lift, shoulder press, traps shrugs. I do 4 set @ 5-4-3-2. I do 20mins of walking, and try to eat less, Am I on the right track to lose weight and gain muscle, I do this workout four days a week?
You should be fine. One thing I recommend is not to eat less but to eat better. Eating less will likely cause to under eat at times and overeat at the others.

Can I supplement on my other days olympic lifting or crossfit metabolic conditioning workouts? or would this interfere with my gains? Or do I refrain from certain workouts? I lift on Monday and did the deadlift and bench and the squat and strict shoulder press on wednesday. Can I do olympic lifting on tuesday and thursday as well? any information would be helpful. Could this olympic lifting like clean and jerk or Snatch be considered accessory work for my big lifts?
